DoseTick Terms of Use

These Terms of Use set out the conditions for using DoseTick, provided by KENTA OSAWA.

By using DoseTick, the user is deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

1. Scope

These Terms apply to the use of DoseTick between the developer and the user.

2. Purpose of the App

DoseTick is an app for locally recording medication or supplement intake on the user's device.

DoseTick does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, medication instructions, dosage calculation, or any guarantee that the user will not forget medication.

3. Medical Notice

Information shown in the app and records entered by the user are not a substitute for medical judgment.

For decisions about medication use, changes, discontinuation, dosage, or health conditions, consult a doctor, pharmacist, or other qualified healthcare professional.

4. License

The developer grants the user a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use DoseTick in accordance with these Terms.

5. Fees and Payments

DoseTick is sold as a paid upfront app on the App Store or Google Play.

DoseTick v1 does not include in-app purchases, subscriptions, Pro plans, additional paid unlocks, or Restore Purchases functionality.

Purchases, payments, billing, refunds, and redownloads are handled according to the rules of the App Store, Google Play, or the relevant platform provider. The developer does not independently guarantee refunds.

When using the same store account, the user can usually redownload a purchased app without paying again. However, the App Store and Google Play are separate stores, and purchases cannot be shared between iOS and Android.

6. Data Storage

DoseTick stores the medication or supplement item list, intake history, and display language setting locally on the user's device.

DoseTick does not provide cloud sync, app-managed backup, app-managed restore, or app-managed device transfer. Data may be lost if the app is deleted, the device is changed, or the user's operating system or backup settings do not restore the data.

Operating system migration or backup features, such as iCloud backup or Android backup, may transfer data depending on the user's device, account, and backup settings. DoseTick does not guarantee data transfer or restore.

Because DoseTick does not send intake records to a developer server, the developer cannot recover records that were not restored after a device change or reinstall.

7. Data Deletion

The user can delete local app data using the in-app local data deletion feature.

Deleted data includes:

DoseTick does not provide account registration or server-side storage, so there is no account deletion or server-side data deletion process.

8. Prohibited Conduct

The user must not:

9. Intellectual Property

All copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights related to DoseTick belong to the developer or the rightful owners.

The license granted under these Terms does not transfer any intellectual property rights to the user.

10. Changes, Suspension, or Termination

The developer may change, suspend, or terminate the app without prior notice to the user.

11. Disclaimer

The developer does not guarantee that:

To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for damages arising from the use of the app, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the developer.

12. Changes to These Terms

The developer may change these Terms when necessary. Important changes may be announced in the app or on the public page.

If the user continues to use the app after the Terms are changed, the user is deemed to have agreed to the changed Terms.

13. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts remain valid.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.

If a dispute arises in connection with DoseTick, the court having jurisdiction over the developer's location will be the exclusive court of first instance.
