These Terms of Use define the conditions for using PaperDPI, provided by KENTA OSAWA under the brand name K's App.
By using PaperDPI, you agree to these Terms.
1. Scope
These Terms apply to the use of PaperDPI.
Any privacy policy, notices, store listing text, or other rules separately provided for PaperDPI also form part of these Terms.
2. App Description
PaperDPI calculates print resolution (DPI) from image pixel dimensions and paper size, and shows an estimated print quality status.
The app is a support tool for users who need to check image quality before printing or submission.
PaperDPI does not read image files. It does not upload, scan, or analyze images.
3. Use of the App
You must use PaperDPI in accordance with applicable laws and these Terms.
You are responsible for your use of the app.
Calculation results are estimates based on the pixel dimensions and paper size entered by the user. If the input values are incorrect, the results will also be incorrect.
4. License
The developer grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use PaperDPI for personal or business print resolution checks, subject to these Terms.
This right may not be sublicensed.
5. Fees and Purchases
5-1. One-time purchase app
PaperDPI is provided as a paid one-time purchase app.
- No ads
- No subscriptions
- No in-app purchases
5-2. Payment processing
Purchases, payments, billing, and refunds are handled according to the systems and rules of the Apple App Store, Google Play, or the platform used for purchase.
The developer does not independently collect payment information inside the app.
5-3. Refunds
Refund availability and procedures are governed by the rules of the platform used for purchase.
The developer does not separately guarantee refunds.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- Violate laws or public order and morals
- Engage in conduct related to crime
- Misuse, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Interfere with operation of the app
- Attempt unauthorized access
- Infringe intellectual property, privacy, reputation, or other rights of the developer or third parties
- Use the app in a manner not intended by the developer
- Engage in conduct the developer reasonably considers inappropriate
7. Intellectual Property
All copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights related to PaperDPI belong to the developer or rightful third parties.
The license under these Terms does not transfer any intellectual property rights.
8. Changes, Suspension, or Termination
The developer may change, suspend, or terminate the app without prior notice.
The developer is not liable beyond the extent required by applicable law for damages arising from such changes, suspension, or termination.
9. Disclaimer
The developer does not guarantee that:
- The app will fit a particular purpose
- The app will always be available
- The app will be free from defects, errors, or bugs
- The app will work on all devices, operating systems, or environments
- Calculation results will guarantee actual print quality
- No issue will occur in commercial printing, submission, delivery, or reprinting
Actual print quality depends on printers, printing methods, paper, ink, image processing, color settings, scaling, submission requirements, and production workflow.
Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, the developer is not liable for printing issues, reprint costs, delivery delays, business losses, or other damages arising from use of the app's calculation results.
10. User Data
PaperDPI does not permanently store pixel dimensions, selected paper size, or calculation results.
Values and results are reset when the app is closed or restarted.
User information is handled according to the separately provided Privacy Policy.
11. Suspension of Use
If you violate these Terms or the developer reasonably determines that continued use is inappropriate, the developer may suspend use or take necessary measures without prior notice.
12. Changes to These Terms
The developer may revise these Terms as needed.
Important changes may be announced in the app, store listing, or public page.
By using the app after changes are made, you agree to the revised Terms.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
Any dispute related to PaperDPI will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the developer's location as the court of first instance.
