KENTA OSAWA ("we," "us," or "our") establishes this Privacy Policy ("this Policy") regarding the handling of user information in the app Promise Pocket / 約束ポケット ("the App"). This Policy applies to the App distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to the App and to user information handled by us in relation to the App.

If the App links to external services, external websites, or pages provided by third parties, the policies and terms established by each provider apply to those services.

3. Information We Handle

3-1. Information Entered by Users

The App handles the following information entered by users:

• Other person's name
• Promise content
• Reminder date and time
• Status (your turn / waiting on the other person)
• Optional note
• Created, updated, and completed timestamps

This information is not sent to the developer's server.

3-2. Information Stored on the Device

The App stores the promise data above, together with app settings (such as first-launch state, content templates, frequently used person names, reminder settings, and internal IDs required to display notifications), locally on the device.

This data is retained on the device until the user deletes it within the App or uninstalls the App. The App does not perform cloud sync.

3-3. Information Collected Automatically

The App does not automatically collect user information.

The App does not use analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, crash analysis SDKs, login SDKs, or billing SDKs.

3-4. Permissions and Sensitive Information

The App may request notification permission in order to display reminders that help users remember their promises. Notifications are local notifications and are not sent to the developer's server.

The App does not request access to the camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos or videos, tracking, or payment information.

Person names and promise content entered voluntarily by the user may contain personal or sensitive information. Such information is stored only on the device to provide the App's core functions, and is not collected or shared by us.

3-5. Information Through External Services or Third-Party SDKs

To provide its functions, the App uses libraries such as Flutter, Riverpod, Hive, SharedPreferences, flutter_local_notifications, timezone, and flutter_timezone for screen display, on-device storage, notifications, and time processing.

The App uses url_launcher to open external links, and in_app_review to display the store's standard review dialog. The App itself does not collect user information through these tools. The review action is completed on the App Store / Google Play side, and the App does not obtain payment information or the content of any review.

If a user opens this Privacy Policy or the support page from a link inside the App in an external browser, the external website or hosting service may collect access logs or similar information. In that case, the policy of the relevant external provider applies.

4. Purpose of Use

Information handled or stored is used for the following purposes:

• To provide, maintain, and improve the App
• To record, display, edit, delete, complete, and snooze promises
• To provide the notification (reminder) function
• To open the relevant promise when a notification is tapped
• To manage first-run guidance and in-app display state
• To respond to inquiries from users
• To investigate issues, handle failures, and improve quality
• To respond to legal requirements

We do not send information handled in the App to a server.

5. Data Storage Method

• Storage method: Promise data entered by the user is stored mainly on the user's device.
• Server transmission: Promise data entered by the user is not sent to the developer's server.
• External service storage: The App does not store users' promise data in external services.
• Cloud sync: None.

6. Sharing and Third-Party Disclosure

We do not share user information with third parties, except where required by law.

The App also does not use third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, crash analysis, login, cloud sync, or in-app purchases.

7. Secure Handling

We endeavor to manage information handled or stored by the App appropriately and as necessary to prevent leakage, loss, damage, unauthorized access, and similar risks.

8. Data Retention Period and Deletion

Promise data stored in the App can be deleted by the user within the App. When the App is removed from the device, the App's local data on the device is also deleted in accordance with the OS specifications.

Depending on device backups or OS behavior, information may remain in a backup even after deletion. Please check the specifications of your device and OS for details.

9. User Confirmation, Correction, and Deletion

Using the functions within the App, users can review, correct, and delete the promise data they have stored.

10. Account Deletion

The App does not provide account creation functionality. Therefore, account deletion procedures do not apply.

11. Use by Minors

Minor users should use the App with the consent or supervision of a parent or guardian.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may change this Policy due to legal changes, changes to the App, or other reasons. If important changes are made, we will provide notice in the App or on this page.

If analytics, advertising, login, cloud sync, in-app purchases, or other external service integrations are added to the App, we will update this Policy.
