Terms of Use
Last updated: June 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") set out the conditions for using NeatPaste ("App") provided by KENTA OSAWA ("Developer").
By using the App, the user is deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
1. Scope
These Terms apply between the Developer and the user regarding use of the App.
Any rules, guidelines, or notices separately provided by the Developer in connection with the App form part of these Terms.
2. Use of the App
NeatPaste is a text formatting app that cleans line breaks, spaces, quotation marks, and similar text formatting issues.
The App does not provide text generation, semantic improvement, automatic proofreading, cloud sync, history storage, or account features.
The user must use the App at the user's own responsibility and in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.
3. License
The Developer grants the user a personal, non-exclusive right to use the App in accordance with these Terms.
This right is non-transferable and may not be sublicensed.
4. Fees and Purchases
4-1. Paid App Sale
The App is provided as a one-time paid app.
The App is not a subscription. There are no recurring charges.
4-2. In-App Purchases
The App does not provide in-app purchases, subscriptions, billing SDKs, or an in-app purchase restoration feature.
4-3. Payment Processing
Purchases, payments, billing, and refunds are generally handled under the systems and terms of Apple App Store, Google Play, or other platform providers.
4-4. Redownloads
Redownloads of a purchased app are managed by the same App Store or Google Play account used at purchase.
iOS and Android purchases are managed by separate stores. Purchase transfer across platforms is not promised.
4-5. Refunds
Refund availability and procedures are generally governed by the rules of the platform used for purchase.
The Developer does not separately guarantee refunds.
5. Prohibited Acts
The user must not engage in any of the following acts when using the App.
- Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
- Acts related to criminal conduct
- Unauthorized use, modification, reverse engineering, decompilation, or disassembly of the App
- Acts that interfere with operation of the App
- Unauthorized access or attempts to do so
- Acts that cause damage, disadvantage, or discomfort to other users or third parties
- Acts that infringe intellectual property rights, privacy, reputation, or other rights or interests of the Developer, other users, or third parties
- Use of the App in a way not intended by the App
- Any other act that the Developer considers inappropriate
6. Intellectual Property
All copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights related to the App belong to the Developer or rightful third parties.
The license granted under these Terms does not transfer any such rights.
7. Changes, Suspension, and Termination
The Developer may change, suspend, or terminate all or part of the App without prior notice to the user.
The Developer is not liable for damages caused by such actions beyond the extent required by law.
8. Warranty Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Developer does not warrant the App, including the following matters.
- Fitness for the user's specific purpose
- Continuous availability
- Absence of defects, errors, or bugs
- Operation on all devices, operating systems, or environments
The Developer is not liable for damages caused by use of the App, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the Developer.
9. User Data and Stored Information
The App processes text entered or pasted by the user on the user's device.
The App does not store entered text, formatted text, history data, or account information. The App does not send entered text to an external server.
Because the App does not store text data, there is no text data to transfer when changing devices. Users should manage any necessary text in another location.
10. Suspension of Use
If the user violates these Terms, or if the Developer determines continued use to be inappropriate, the Developer may suspend use of the App or take necessary measures without prior notice.
11. Changes to These Terms
The Developer may update these Terms when necessary.
Important changes may be announced in the App or on the public page.
If the user uses the App after the Terms are changed, the user is deemed to have agreed to the changed Terms.
12. Severability
If any provision or part of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to be valid.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
Any dispute related to the App is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the Developer's location as the court of first instance.
